Removal of Quick-Disconnect Front Loader...
While performing the tractor loader removal or installation, please remember safety! Never get under the loader and keep hands and fingers away from moving parts. Keep in mind that different tractors will have different procedures. The key to simplicity is using the loader hydraulics in this process. ALWAYS READ the operators manual before performing any tractor procedures.

The following steps outline some basic procedures common to most front loader attachements. To see a larger image just double-click on the image and a larger picture will open in a new browser window.
Step 1. Find a smooth, flat area for loader storage. Lower the loader and position the bucket flat on the ground. Use bucket level indicator if equipped (see Image-1).

Step 2. Lower support stands on loader frame if equipped (see Image-2). If necessary use a suitable and safe blocking system.

Step 3. Pull the retainer clips that retain the main loader pins (see Image-3).

Step 4. Pull main loader pins (see Image-4 & Image-5). You may need to try all 4 functions (up, down, curl forward, curl back) to achieve free movement of the main pins (see Image-6).

Step 5. Typically, quick attach loaders have a saddle and pin design (see Image-7). You will need to use the hydraulics to raise loader frame out of its saddle after the main pins are removed. Once clear of saddle, back tractor up slowly just enough to clear (see Image-8). Remember the hydraulic hoses are still attached, so don’t back too far.

Step 6. Once clear, shut the tractor off and unplug hydraulic hoses from tractor/loader (see Image-9). Then cover the quick-disconnect fittings with plugs and caps to prevent dirt from entering system.

Step 7. Drive tractor rearward to clear frame completely (see Image-10).
